# Best Finder — Find My Airbuds Device Finder

> Best Finder (App Store name: "Find My Airbuds Device Finder") is an iPhone app that helps you find lost AirPods, earbuds, headphones and other compatible Bluetooth devices nearby. It scans for detectable Bluetooth devices and shows live signal-strength changes as you move, so you can narrow down where a lost device is.

## Key facts

- What it does: scans for nearby compatible Bluetooth devices and shows a live signal indicator; a stronger signal generally means you are getting closer.
- How to use it: open the app, allow Bluetooth access, scan, select a detectable device, then walk slowly and follow the signal changes.
- Also included: the last recorded connection location, when available.
- What it does NOT do: no GPS tracking and no exact distance. Signal strength varies with the device, walls, furniture and interference.
- Requirements: the lost device must be powered on, broadcasting a detectable Bluetooth signal and within Bluetooth range. Devices that are offline, out of battery, out of range or not broadcasting cannot be found with a live scan. An empty or powered-off AirPods case may not be detectable.
- Platform: iOS only — an iPhone app (iOS 15.0 or later), distributed through the App Store.
